Opulent are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how and for what purposes we use the information collected about you. Please read this privacy policy carefully. By using this Site and any services we offer via this Site, you are agreeing to be bound by this policy in respect of the information that we collect about you.

If you have any queries or comments about the policy, our use of your personal information or wish to unsubscribe from messages from us, please get in touch by emailing info@opulentinvest.com or writing to us at the address provided at the beginning of this policy.

Personal information collected

When you visit or use the website or use our services, you may be asked to provide certain information about yourself, including your full name, phone number and email address. We may also collect information about how you use this Site including your searches, the properties and pages you look at, the advertisers or partners you contact and the contents of the emails you send to them. Finally, we may also collect your personal data through social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Collectively, we refer to this as “Your Information”.

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • We will use your personal contact details to respond to any queries you have made using our online forms or by contacting us by other means such as telephone.
  • Internal record keeping.
  • We may use the information to improve our products and services.
  • We may periodically send promotional emails about new products.
  • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests. However, we will never sell your information to a third party for them to use for their own purposes. We may disclose personal data in order to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.

Cookies

Like many websites, we use “cookies” to enable us to personalise your visits to this Site, simplify the signing-in procedure, keep track of your preferences and to track the usage of this Site. Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored in the hard drive of your computer by your browser. Your browser will have the option to prevent websites using cookies (your browser’s help screen or manual will tell you how to do this), but please note that this may reduce the functionality of this Site and other websites. On this Website we only use a temporary form of cookies (sometimes known as session cookies). These cookies are not permanently stored on your computer, and they are only used to collect basic information about your visit (e.g. which pages were visited, or what order the pages were viewed). It is not our intention to use cookies to retrieve any personal information about you. Further information on deleting or controlling cookies is available at www.aboutcookies.org Please note that by deleting our cookies or disabling future cookies you may not be able to access certain areas or features of our site.

You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.

Google Analytics

When someone visits www.opulentinvest.com or www.opulentinvest.properties, we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Through Google analytics, our servers automatically record ‘log files’ containing information about the volume and characteristics of our Site traffic e.g. IP address, numbers of pages viewed, length of time spent on Site. We use log files to build pictures of how our Site is used that help us to monitor and improve the service. We cannot identify you from your log files.

Mailing Lists:

As part of the registration process for our monthly e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third-party CRM provider, InfusionSoft to send out all our emails. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our promotional emails/e-newsletter. For more information, please see InfusionSoft Privacy policy. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer Harsha Rangappa.

Security

We follow strict security procedures to ensure that your personal information is not damaged, destroyed, or disclosed to a third party without your permission (unless they are providing services as outlined in the ‘who has access to Your Information’ section above) and to prevent un-authorised access to it. The computers that store the information are kept in a secure facility with restricted physical access and we use secure firewalls and other measures to restrict electronic access. If we are working with third parties we will require them to have in place similar measures to protect Your Information.

All of the information we collect or record is restricted to our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. We will explicitly ask you when we need information to identify you. We may require you to co-operate with our security checks before we disclose information to you. Your Information will not be transferred outside of the European Economic Area.

We will retain Your Information for a reasonable period or for as long as is required by law.

Access to your personal information

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold.

You have the right to opt out of any marketing communication that we may send you.

If you wish to make any changes, please email your request to our data protection officer Harsha Rangappa at harsha@opulentinvest.com
